Lacy Park Meetup (Location Change Today!)

Last Friday of every month from 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm through the whole year, including the summer

Change of location for, today, January 30th only! We will be meeting at Sierra Vista Park near the playground at 611 E. Sierra Madre Blvd in Sierra Madre!

*We meet in the grassy area across from the playground. Any cancellations or changes

As Charlotte Mason Homeschoolers, we value time outdoors and free play for our children with no agenda. As parents who have been practicing the art of teaching all month, it is nice to relax, celebrate another month of learning and enjoy friendship.

What can I expect? …

This is an unstructured time to mark and celebrate the end of another month of teaching and learning! Families are welcome to come and go as they please, and all are welcome to invite friends.

You can meet other Charlotte Mason homeschoolers and connect with old or new friends. There is plenty of natural open space, trees to climb, places to explore, a paved bike path, a playground, and clean bathrooms. Often kids bring bikes or scooters for the path, their favorite sports equipment, or activities.

We meet across from the playground each week, forming a circle with our own chairs and picnic blankets. Every parent is responsible for their children, but we encourage all children to have a buddy when they play away from the larger group.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and circle up with us!
